Sharing your project impact

An impact report (also known as a delivery report) shares your project's achievements with your backers and shows others what you've delivered. It's a chance to celebrate your success and showcase the difference you've made.

Handling reminder emails

If you receive periodic reminder emails prompting you to complete your impact report ahead of project delivery, you can safely disregard these until you are ready. These reminders are routine and do not impose strict submission deadlines. Spacehive also sends automated emails to project creators based on specific triggers, such as when a project has raised funds and received a payout. These emails may prompt you to share your project’s impact, but if your campaign has ended and you are no longer active, you can safely disregard them.

When to create your report

You can generate your report when:

  • All planned activities related to your project, such as workshops or events, have concluded

  • You have full access to any necessary details, such as the completion of your project space or photos documenting your project outcomes

  • You have data about your impact

  • You can share results and outcomes

  • You're ready to tell your story

What to include

Your report should cover:

  • What you've delivered

  • How you spent the money

  • Number of people benefiting

  • Project milestones achieved

  • Challenges overcome

  • Advice for other creators

  • Photos of your completed project

  • Project statistics

  • Volunteer numbers

  • Community feedback

  • New project images

  • Impact measurements

  • Review all supporting documentation, such as photos or reports, to ensure they accurately reflect the project’s outcomes

Writing your report

Remember to:

  • Show your achievements

What happens next

Once complete:

  • Report emails to all backers
