Who is involved in Projects for Nature?

Projects for Nature brings together a unique collaboration of organisations working towards nature recovery in England.

The P4N Coalition Partners

The platform is governed by a coalition including Defra, Natural England, the Environment Agency, the Council for Sustainable Business, and Spacehive as the platform operator. The Wildlife and Countryside Link and Nature Recovery Network Partnership collaborate on the initiative.

Roles and responsibilities

Businesses limit their negative impacts on nature and take additional action to fund recovery through projects on the platform.

The public and other donors can donate to nature recovery projects and help amplify the platform by sharing it with their networks.

Environmental non-governmental organisations (eNGOs) deliver the nature recovery projects that support Environmental Improvement Plan goals.

Government bodies (Defra, Environment Agency, Natural England) provide expertise on nature projects and their alignment with environmental priorities.

The Council for Sustainable Business supports, connects and drives action amongst the business community.

Spacehive operates the platform technology, manages relationships with donors and project owners, and provides support throughout the fundraising process.
